General Refund Information
What are my refund options?
Your refunds options are the following:
- Direct deposit (ACH) transfer to your bank account
- Maricopa One Card, which is a prepaid Money Network® Discover Card®
- If neither of these options is selected, a paper check will be sent to your mailing address on file in your Online Student Center.
How do I choose an electronic option?
To select an electronic option enroll with our partner, Money Network®, by visiting their website at www.enroll.moneynetworkedu.com. See the Enrolling with Money Network® FAQ section below for more information.
When should I enroll with Money Network®?
Enroll now to begin receiving your electronic refunds through Money Network®. Students may enroll with Money Network® and select their refund option within 2 business days of registering for current or the future semester classes.
How long will it take to receive my refund?
The length of time depends on the refund option you select through Money Network®. The average processing time for student refunds once posted to their Online Student Center are as follows:
- Direct deposit (ACH) - 3 to 4 business days
- Maricopa ONE Card* - 2 to 3 business days
*The physical card, once selected through Money Network®, takes 7 to 10 business days to receive.
What if I do not select an electronic refund option?
If you do not enroll with Money Network and select an electronic refund option, you will receive a paper check from JP Morgan Chase Bank.
Note: Checks are mailed to the mailing address on record in your Online Student Center.
How long will it take to receive my paper check?
Paper check may take 7 to 10 business days to be received. Paper checks are mailed to your mailing address on file in your Online Student Center and delays may occur due to postal service.
Which refunds go through the MSRP process?
Refunds may include credit balances from financial aid, book advances, cash or check payments, payment plan payments, and scholarships.
Note: Students must be eligible for refunds. Refunds for credit card payments will continue to be processed back to the original credit card.
What if I used a credit card for payment?
Student refunds for credit card payments will be processed back to the original credit card used to make the payment.
Enrolling with Money Network®
What information do I need to enroll with Money Network®?
You need the following information to enroll:
- Your student ID number
- Your date of birth
- Your official Maricopa student email address
Note: You must be registered for classes in the current or a future semester to enroll with Money Network®.
How do I change my refund selection?
To change from direct deposit (ACH) to Maricopa ONE Card: go to the Money Network® enrollment tool at www.enroll.moneynetworkedu.com. You will need the following information to make changes: student ID, date of birth, and official Maricopa student email address.
To change from Maricopa ONE Card to direct deposit (ACH): log in to your Money Network® account by going to www.moneynetworkedu.com and click My School Funding Option to change.
To change from Maricopa ONE Card or direct deposit (ACH) to a paper check contact MoneyNetwork at (800) 822- 4283.
Will I have to select an electronic refund option every semester?
No. Once you have selected an electronic refund option, this option will remain on file with Maricopa Community Colleges. You are responsible for keeping your information up to date to ensure that your refund is processed in a timely manner.
What happens if I enroll at another Maricopa college?
Once you have selected an electronic refund option, this option will remain on file with all Maricopa Community Colleges.
Will I be able to pick up my refund at my campus?
No. All refunds will be processed through Money Network® or JPMorgan Chase.
I am not receiving financial aid, should I enroll?
Yes. If you are expecting any type of refund, then you should enroll with Money Network® to select an electronic refund option.
Is there an age requirement for enrolling with Money Network®?
Yes. Students must be at least 14 years old to enroll with Money Network®. Students who have a refund due and are younger than 14 years old will be processed through the paper check process.
Direct Deposit (ACH)
What is direct deposit (ACH)?
An electronic transfer of funds to your personal bank account.
What information do I need to select and set up direct deposit with Money Network®?
Personal bank account number
Bank routing number (it is the 9 digit number to the left of your bank account on a check)
How do I update my direct deposit (ACH) banking information for my student refunds?
Go to Money Network® (www.enroll.moneynetworkedu.com) to make changes to your bank account. You will need the following information to enroll/make changes:
Your date of birth
How long will it take to receive my direct deposit (ACH) refund?
Direct deposit refunds typically take 3 to 4 business days after posted to your Online Student Center.
What happens if I do not see my deposit within 3 to 4 business days?
Check your Online Student Center to confirm the refund date and amount
To verify direct deposit (ACH) information, go to Money Network® at www.enroll.moneynetworkedu.com
If all the information is correct, contact your bank.
Maricopa ONE Card
What is the Maricopa Community Colleges ONE Card?
The Maricopa ONE Card is a branded prepaid Discover® Card. Refunds are loaded directly to the card, giving you access to your funds via the card or online. This is not a credit card. Funds are FDIC insured and you can access your money through ATMs and checks.
Is there a fee to get a card?
No. The Maricopa ONE Card has no enrollment fee.
How long does it take to receive the Maricopa ONE card?
Once you have selected the Maricopa ONE Card through Money Network®, you should receive your card within 7 to 10 business days. Your card will need to be activated once you receive it.
How long does it take to receive the funds on my Maricopa ONE card?
Refunds typically take 2 to 3 business days after posted to your Online Student Center.
What if I don't spend all the money on my Maricopa ONE card?
Your money will remain on your Maricopa ONE Card (within your Money Network® account) until you spend, transfer, or withdraw it. A monthly fee may apply if your card does not register any activity for nine consecutive months. The fee schedule is available in your Maricopa ONE Card welcome kit or by visiting https://my.maricopa.edu/msrp
How can I keep track of my balance?
Keep track of your Maricopa ONE Card balance in four easy ways:
- Via the Money Network® mobile app
- Via push notification, e-mail, or text* message - turn on push notifications in the app or call Customer Service at 1-800-822-4283
- Online - log in to your Money Network® account online at www.moneynetworkedu.com
- By phone - call Customer Service at 1-800-822-4283 and follow the automated prompts
*Your cellular phone carrier's standard rates or other charges for receiving text messages may apply.
I don't want to pay any fees to withdraw cash; what can I do?
You can withdraw your money using one or a combination of the free services and transactions listed on your Fee Schedule. For instance, you can withdraw cash from any Allpoint ATM or by getting cash-back at partner businesses available at www.mycampusfunds.com/howto.html
Is there an ATM withdrawal limit?
Yes. For security reasons, you can only withdraw up to $500 per transaction and per day.
Can I get cash at an ATM with my Maricopa ONE Card?
Yes. Allpoint ATM network withdrawals are fee free.
Note: An additional fee or surcharge may be applied by an Out-of-Network ATM owner or operator. To avoid ATM withdrawal and surcharge fees, use an In-Network ATM.
How do I find a fee free ATM?
Go to http://www.allpointnetwork.com/atm-locators.aspx to find an ATM near you or use your Money Network® mobile app use the ATM locator.
Can I transfer money from my Maricopa ONE Card to a personal bank account?
Yes. However, before you can initiate a direct deposit (ACH) transfer, you will need the bank routing number and bank account number from your personal account. Once you have the required information, go to www.moneynetworkedu.com and select the option to Transfer Funds to a Bank Account and follow the instructions.
Note:Transfers initiated on a banking business day prior to 5 p.m. CST will be available to the designated bank account on the next business day. Transfers completed after 5 p.m. CST or on weekends and holidays will be available to the designated bank account on the second business day.
I lost my Maricopa ONE Card, what do I do?
Contact Money Network® Customer Service at 1-800-822-4283.
How do I cash my paper check?
You can deposit the check into a personal bank account or present the check to any JPMorgan Chase branch to cash the check (a government issued ID is required for cashing the check).
Is there a fee to cash my check?
There is no fee if you deposit the check into a personal checking or savings account or present the check to any JPMorgan Chase branch to cash the check.
How long will it take to receive my paper check?
Paper check may take 7 to 10 business days to be received. Paper checks are mailed to your mailing address on file in your Online Student Center.
What happens if I do not receive my paper check within 7 to 10 business days?
Check your Online Student Center to confirm the refund date and amount.
Confirm mailing address is accurate in your Online Student Center.

I lost my check from JPMorgan Chase. What do I do?

My address has changed. Who do I need to contact to update?
Your address should be updated in your Online Student Center or through your college Admissions, Records and Registration Office.
